How to share a Google Document

Step 1: Open the document you wish to share through Google Drive.

Step 2: When the document is open, navigate the cursor to the top right corner of the screen and click on the share button.

Step 3: Once you clicked on  , at the bottom of the box, enter the email of the recipient/s. As shown in the example below:

Step 4: After you have entered the email/s of the recipient/s click on the button at the bottom left of the box.

Step 5: If you want to let the recipient edit leave the can edit option chosen. If you don’t want them to edit you can click on the drop down box and there will be three options. If you only want them to

Congrats the document has now been shared with the people you have wished to share it with.

 

Side Note:There is a preference on the sharing box which you can change so that only people with the link can see it or anyone in our district can see it. It is shown below:
